Ole Gunnar Solskjær is a former Norwegian professional footballer who played as a forward. He is currently the manager of Manchester United Football Club.
Solskjær began his professional career with Clausenengen FK in Norway before moving to Molde FK, where he spent the majority of his playing career. He is famous for his time at Manchester United, where he scored 126 goals in 366 appearances between 1996 and 2007. He won numerous titles during his playing career, including six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, and the UEFA Champions League.
After retiring as a player, Solskjær began his managerial career with Molde FK before moving to Cardiff City, where he spent a brief spell as manager. He then returned to Molde before being appointed as the caretaker manager of Manchester United in 2018. He was later appointed as the permanent manager of the club, signing a three-year contract in March 2019.
Solskjær is known for his attacking football philosophy and has been praised for his ability to develop young players. He has won the Sir Matt Busby Manager of the Year Award twice and has been named the Premier League Manager of the Month on several occasions.
